My map shows 2 State Parks in the Savannah area: Fort McAllister and Skidaway Island. I stayed at Fort McAllister last spring and found it a very nice place to camp. Although I didn't do any kayaking while there, I did notice that the park has water on at least one side of it. Looked like a tidal saltmarsh to me. How big the water is and where it leads to I couldn't tell you.
