Melinda Rice is writing an article for Texas Magazine on paddling the Texas Coast. We took her paddling at some of our favorite spots (Ken Johnson, Mark Arnold, and Jonah Freedman) around Corpus Christi (Shamrock Cove and Corpus Christi Bay). Shamrock cove was lush, green, and beautiful from the recent rains. Saw lots of birds...but their flying expertise is much better than my stealth photography expertise!
