[Paddlewise] Sp*ns*ns*

It's interesting to hear about the different variations of Sp*on*ns* used
around the world.


Here in MN we have pictures of Ice Sp*ns*ns being used years ago by the old
timers for winter kayaking . Nice thing is, they are environmentally friendly
and they automatically recycle themselves each spring. 


Summers, we usually go with a couple slabs of leftover Luetefisk lashed to the
ends of an old snow shovel handle. By the end of a long summer it's almost
ready to eat ...., the handle, of course, you wouldn't want to actually eat
Luetefisk.
