I've viewed photos of Lloyd and the unidentifiable vessel he calls a "Nordkapp". I suspect he has run the race of "better boat". I feel the same way about my Mariner Express. It's more adequate than I for where I go and what I do. I see the advertisements for new boats. I go to the local dealer and actually fondle them. I remain (how else can I say it) "unaroused". The illicit thrill of spending thousands of dollars on a personal toy is gone. I've even exhausted the paddle and PFD pursuit and am reduced to squandering a pittance on accessories. Is there a "Viagra" for Kayak consumers? Do others feel this way about their boats? If so, what do you paddle?
