FWIW, I know a woman who can hand roll a canoe!!! (WW OC1 with float 
bags in it.)  She can put down most bragging kayak hand rollers with 
a simple demo! :-)

You should be able to hand roll a sea kayak as long as it's not too 
stable.  I've never seen anyone hand roll a _loaded_ kayak, but I 
don't doubt someone can.  It really depends on getting your technique
down cold.

I'm still working on a hand roll, but with my shoulders, I'm not
optimistic.  Congrats!
