I've got a pretty severe allergy to the glue used on the seams of my wetsuit. It's not the neoprene, it's just the glue. I tried covering the seams with some toluene-free nail polish (I'm thinking the toluene in the neoprene glue may be what I'm allergic to in the first place), and that made it a bit better, but it's still pretty bad. Wearing polypropelene under layers also helps, but here in NC, the water gets cold before we have consistent cold air, and it's too hot to wear as much as I need to in order to block this reaction. I'm thinking this is hopeless and am starting to resign myself to spending the big bucks on a drysuit, but am curious if anybody else has heard about this problem, and more importantly, has come up with a solution.
