Has anyone tried or tested the fleece-lined, elbow length, 3 mm thick,
Hodgman gloves?

Yesterday I took Paddlewise contributors' advice and went to Home Depot to
buy a pair of elbow-length, rubber (neoprene), black gloves. although these
seem to appear waterproof, they are NOT very thick, so a liner would be
necessary for the cold. Trouble is, even the extra large would be small for
my hand, and quite tight with a light liner.

My wife uses a pair of Hodgman gloves for hunting and they appear to be
sufficiently thick for warmth. But, no matter where I look, I can't seem to
locate these gloves. Yes, I can find many sites with Hodgman hunting
clothing (those sites listed as dealers on Hodgman's own site), but none
have the gloves displayed for sale.

Any insights are appreciated.
