[Paddlewise] Waterproof Hearing Aids

As an oldtimer who doesn't wear his hearing aids when he is out on the water,
I'm wondering whether any paddlewisers are in the same boat  ( no pun intended
)  as I am.......  unable to hear my paddling companions when we are more than
a couple boat lengths apart.  Anyone know whether there are any waterPROOF
hearing aids on the market?  Or even  ones that are "water resistant"?  I'd
certainly like to hear comments or recommendations.  At least ones that are
fit to print.  ;-)
