The original plans- or ones very much like them- can be had from Clark
Craft (http://www.clarkcraft.com). Look under "kayaks". You'll find a
number of wood and canvas craft, both rigid and folding.

These boats were designed by Percy Blandford, and are discusse din his
book "Canoes and Canoeing". It's long out of print, but copies can be
found. I found mine at alibris.com.

Good lead by Mike. For good order's sake, and Mike already indicated that the 
PBKs are not Tynes, but rather "merely" much like them in many respects, 
here's another detail on the subject to ensure that credit goes where it is
