Here's something that I'm wondering now that we have hard water in Vermont...

I usually store our PE hulls suspended in slings but we now have a GRP hull too and I'd like to stand it vertically on one end (on a thick pad).

Any problem with this? I don't believe there's much cold-creep with polyester/vinylester resins, correct?

The hull and deck shells should be okay. How about the mating seam at the shearline (which is glassed too).

Storage temp is < 40 degF (5 degC).

Any comments?
