[Paddlewise] GPS - Mac computer interface?

Last week I responded on a back channel to a fellow that asked about
Mac/GPS compatibility.  

Anyway, there is a site that shows how to use "Virtual PC" software that
allows you to run Windows programs on your Mac.  The advantage is you
can use Garmins (and maybe other brands) with Garmins map software which
is only for PC's.  There is some good Mac mapping software out there but
I personally have not used it, although I dod prefer Macs in general.
