Donīt know how the system looks now, but Iīm the owner of an Artisan 2000,
the Boat before the Artisan Millenium and his Skeg system is on the outer
side okay. Makrolon Skeg, could be a little bit bigger, but never got
problems with it.
BUT inside, you have to treat the wire-system where the cable get out from
the skeg box and into the cable tube, very carefully. They glued a long and
non stabilized "sausage" without any resin-connection to the deck or the
sides. you have to stow all the stuff carefully around this sausage.
Otherweise you may break these thin resin-piece and it may cause leaking. In
my Sirius itīs much better.
Okay, a connection from the skeg box to the deck, i.e., may be a problem
with pressure n the deck. Best way should had been, to avoid this "sausage"
design and to integrate and glue it in a closed way to the skeg box.

I hope its better made on the newer boats.
