Doug, I did a short demo paddle in the Legend. The hull design is nice. It tracks well but is still reasonably maneuverable. I thought it was perfectly stable. The lay-up by Seaward looked really nice. They use core matting to stiffen up areas were oil canning can occur, including in the hull area of the cockpit. What stood out most to me about the legend was that it had a lot of volume, an expedition amount, and the knee bracing wasn't very solid. Overall, it seemed like a great sea kayak. Sorry, I didn't get a chance to take it out in rough seas and gale force winds.
