"Yes, the CD Squamish is a mini sea kayak. I am 5', 10" tall and weigh 165
pounds, and if I were much bigger I wouldn't fit in it. It makes a fun
little
day boat for us average size people."

I believe the CD Squamish is the plastic version of the Slipstream. And
seeing as how the Slipstream is a scaled down model of the Gulfstream meant
for the smaller paddler it would make sense that the plastic version, the
Sirocco, may be more suitable for the larger paddler while retaining similar
characters to the Squamish?

I just bought a Sirocco a month ago and am very pleased with the boat. I'm 5
10 180lbs and the boat fits me well. I've had it out about a dozen times in
all kinds of conditions. The boat edges nicely, turns on a dime and rolls
well. The skeg has jammed twice, both times it cleared itself after a few
minutes. My biggest complaint would be the backband. It needs to be
upgraded. Any suggestions?
