I have a pair of Steiner Military Marine 8x30 ST binos that are built to be submerged to a depth of 5 meters for 5 minutes. I paid $300. They are in effect the little brother of the big Steiners issued to the US military but are very equal in my mind. They fit easily in a deck bag. One hand covers the entire bino except the eyecups. You would be challenged to find a more rugged pair of binos in such a reasonable size. They are current issue to German military snipers. Jim et al ----- Original Message ----- From: "William J.
