Willamette Narrows/ Rock island is a nice paddle upstream from the Falls (Put in West Lynn boat ramp off 12th street). A second choice and a little farther form PDX is Ash island (put in Newberg at Rogers Landing at the end of River Rd). If you decide to do Ash island and want some company give me a heads up as it is practically in my back yard.
