I think we all should let the State of Montana know that we will be passing up spending our tourism dollars in Montana in favor of States that do not rip us off for boat "licenses." Maybe they'll get the message.... I was upset when Illinois first required kayak and canoe registration. But those few dollars we pay have given us the standing to demand canoe launches and river access and watertrail access to Lake Michigan and a lot of other things. And our demands have yielded results. I would still prefer not be bothered, but it has proved to have its positive result.
