>Owners or paddlers of K-light or "small" Kahuna (with 15 x 31" cockpit) - >how do you feel getting in and sitting there? I started with a K-Light and now have a Big Kahuna. I am 6'2" so getting in and out of the K-Light was often an adventure. But it was possible. The width doesn't seem to make much difference. The increased length of the Big Kahuna makes it much easier to stuff the legs into the cockpit with removing all the skin from the shins. The Big Kahuna is easier, but I have problems with shin and calve discomfort from the front crossrib. This winter I have wrapped the front crossrib in foam (pipe insulation) to solve this problem. Haven't tested it on the water yet, but it feels better in the apartment! I would agree with Ralph Diaz that you should sit in both sizes prior to buying.
