Hi PeterO and PT; Second all that about the ATS505, but add a caveat, these radios suck a lot of battery power because of the little microprocessor on board. [ You pay for the digital dial up frequency goodies with a battery drain penalty ]. I am prepared to pay for the advantage of dialing in a frequency, or being able to bring it up out of memory. But, hey, what is a handful of AA batteries in the greater sum of things?
