Make that ATS 909, not 505.

G'Day,

Thanks for all the comments on the value of having a short wave radio as
well as the technical points. I'm wondering what is the simplest way to
compare a 909 vs a 505? My recollection is that the Dick Smith sales room at
N.Ryde has very poor reception, being in the center of a reinforced concrete
building. Maybe the fastest way to test these radios is to try tuning in a
weak station in their premises without the wire aerial. What do you think?
Would that be a fair trial? I don't know how valid it would be to compare
sensitivity and selectivity specifications? Small certainly would be
beautiful if all else was equal.

All the best, PeterO
