This is pushing the topic line a bit, but I hope Kirk will allow it. :<] I am going up to Washington DC Saturday for the National Governor's Assn winter conference. Gear nut that I am, do any of you who live in that area know of a good paddling shop within walking distance of one of the Metro lines? I have been to DC a lot and know my way around the subway system pretty well. I will be able to slip away for Saturday afternoon and possibly Monday, as well. I hope there's still snow...I LOVE snow, and we don't get it down here.
