[Paddlewise] Epoxy info - (was: if not AL, how about wood?)

I've worked with epoxy for many years, and am sensitized to the point of
feeling a tightness in my chest if I do not wear a good-fitting
respirator with organic vapor cartridges.  As I live where the winters
are cold, I cannot work in the basement on epoxy jobs that have
significant surface area without containment structures, exhaust fans,
etc.

The good news is that sensitization is a very individual phenomenon, but
the bad news is that unless one takes precautions working with epoxy,
finding out that you have been sensitized is an unpleasant experience.
The best advice is to take ALL possible precautions - ALL the time.
