Are there any Pygmy owners on this list, planning to attend the East Coast Canoe & Kayak Festival (Charleston, SC, Apr 11-13), who would be willing to let us test paddle their boats...under adult supervision, of course.<<<<<<<<< The Arctic Tern is my favorite Pygmy kayak. I would suggest that the Arctic Tern 14 would be a better choice for a paddler under 150 pounds than the Osprey (or Goldeneye--same hull as Osprey) which are both exceedingly stiff tracking kayaks (read that "hard to turn"). Stiffer tracking can be a benefit with a heavy gear load but given most peoples use (90% of the time unladen) they will just be a lot harder to turn, especially into a strong wind and this will be even more difficult for a lighter and/or less strong paddler.
