To be realistic in the context of paddling, let's assume that if you do something 30 times at regular, not too long intervals, the same result will occur even if it's not every day. On that basis I suggest that paddlers in general practice getting wet every time they go paddling, depending on conditions either before or after the main part of the day's paddling activities. And then they should continue the habit automatically ... ... and pretty soon one knows first hand pretty much before leaving home whether one wants to go paddling in a particular set of clothing in a given set of conditions ...
