If we assume the weight is symmetrical, and the tip of the bow is on the
front bar, and you are picking up at the end of the stern; you would be
picking up a little over half the weight. It is a little over half because
the center of mass is above the keel which is sitting on the bar and ground.

he fact that most kayaks are fuller in the rear than the front, also means
more of the weight is toward the stern.  Just a guess but you are probably
picking up about 60% of the weight.

The more of the kayak that extends over the bar at the bow, the less weight
you lift.

What I can't figure out, is how much weight I'm lifting at thew
