Paddlewisers,

The local rock garden guru here in Southern California put a collection of
great photos on his website. If you'd like to take a look, they are at:
http://www.brown-web.net/kayak/x-files/x-files.htm.

I especially like the seal landing photo.

Enjoy!

Duane

Thanks! But was Mr. "Ug Oh!" able to withstand the dump?

That was Mrs "Ug Oh!". She was fine, but about 3 milliseconds later she
side-surfed into me, flipping me over. I dropped the paddle and the camera,
and a water bottle I had setting in my lap. Somehow I managed to get hold of
the paddle again and roll up, but we had to look around for the camera and
bottle for a while.
Seems like I should have known that would happen.
Anyway, while we were looking for the camera and water bottle we tried to
appear nonchalant so the people fishing on the nearby rocks would not
suspect that we didn't have the whole thing planned.
