Duane,

As someone who paddles a glass boat (I think that Boreal Designs boat of
yours is glass), you know that a small vent hole in the bulkheads would
eliminate the problem.

If someone doesn't want to drill holes in the bulkheads, they could also
follow your lead and drill scupper holes in the hull to allow the seat to
drain.  ;-)

Glass is still king!!!!        ;-)
