In case I didn't, here it is. As before, this is from the ACA study of USCG data: Hazardous water/weather was a primary factor in 73% of all kayaking deaths. Operator experience was the primary cause of 19%. This report does not separate kayak deaths by whitewater or flat water. Hypothermia: 52% of the deaths occurred when the water temperature was below 65 degrees. About half of those, it was below 50 degrees While this may not provide the granularity we want, it is the best I can provide at this time. I did ask the ACA to send me the raw reports, but have not heard back from them.
