I attained a Zen like level of embarrassment on Sunday. I was surfing my whitewater boat at Tybee Island, GA last weekend and managed to actually surf a super nasty FOUR FOOT wave all the way onto the beach before broaching and getting dumped over. Unfortunately I finished upside down in a rapidly draining 6 inches of water. I set up and managed a perfect roll on the beach with no water under me. I got some strange looks and even a, "I did that once!" from a passing 4 year old. Waiting for the next wave to carry me away seemed to take forever. Its hard to look cool while wearing nose plugs.
