This Summer my daughter and I are thinking of doing some traveling on the East Coast and doing day paddles along the way. I figure that it is a good chance for us to spend some time together before she goes off to college in the Fall. There is a chance that we may have a non paddler (my wife) along who is willing to drive between places to pick up and drop off along the way. This would open the possibility of one way cruises. She may or may not be along though. We will be starting and finishing in Baltimore. I thought that Mystic might be one probable stop. Plans are still open though. We may do a mix of motels and camping. Length of trip may be anywhere between 4 days and 16 days. Does anyone have suggestions of possible trips and destinations? We also plan to spend some time on the Chesapeake Bay, but that will be a different trip on board our sailboat, and probably without our kayaks. Then again... has anyone towed two kayaks behind a sailboat? I did some sailing with one in tow and that worked out well. Not sure about two though.
