Paddlewisers, Once again, I removed the factory seat of another sea kayak to find that the seat had been grinding a hole in the hull. Most factory seats slide a little laterally against the hull as the kayak is tilted from side to side. This is the fourth kayak (all different manufacturers) that I've found with this problem. You may want to pull out your seat to take a look before you sink. If thy seat offends thee, pluck it out. My apologies to Sophocles. If your seat is OK, a generous lump of flexible glue will cure this when placed in the proper places.
