Although I have used MarineTex on my boat and carry it in my emergency kit, I just found out about the putty stick. I always figured that the normal MarineTex with a 1 hour cure time could always be used for on water repairs--the putty stick sounds like an even better material for this use. Might not be pretty, but could certainly prevent a boat from sinking.
