Believe it or not I'm trying to keep the bear thread to paddling related stuff. At least a dozen bear/gun posts have disappeared when they were not close enough to paddling/tripping related, based on whatever I was thinking at that second. I know lots of folks won't be happy with the way I've been moderating this thread but as I see new info, which I feel is worthwhile from a paddling/tripping perspective I send it on. Thus perpetuating the thread. My apologies to those who's posts have disappeared without notice. Work's busy and my available admin time is small.
