After my automotive establishment garage door ramming session last week I picked up some web/cam based tiedows, as my home made ones weren't as strong as they should be given I was using plastic "D" rings for the "V" section where the ties goes left and right to spread the load. I believe one poster mentioned drilling eye bolts into the bumpers of this Chrysler Minivan. I'll be doing the same -- after all, vehicles are meant to serve us, not look pretty and un-festooned by pragmatic based needs.
