Hi All, Is there any place left that shows nautical charts on-line? The government NOAA site no longer shows charts. > Hi All, > Is there any place left that shows nautical charts on-line? You can get some here, http://mapserver.maptech.com/homepage/index.cfm?BPID=MAP0060030900 but they are only small sections at a time, and not great for navigation. If you just want to check out an area on-line, though, it should be fine. Be sure to pick the nautical charts... they also have topo and other types. If you download a viewer, you can get all the ENCs from noaa at http://nauticalcharts.noaa.gov/mcd/enc/download.htm They also have rasterized paper chart files available somewhere, but I don't think these are as up-to-date Also interesting is the beta Coast Pilot - a textual narrative description of coastal waters. Only one available now it for New England. not the nautical equivalent of topozone, I'm not sure that's available.- - Age Quod Agis JP *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
