I'm not up on my geographical abbreviations.  Does AK mean Alaska or 
Arkansas?  And why is it pronounced "Ark-an-saw" and not "Ark-and-sas"?

AR is Arkansas.

I've lived here for the past five years and it's not all bad: did you know 
the toothbrush was invented here?



Anywhere else they'd have called it the teethbrush.
