The standard drill (in summer) is 3mm wetsuits in Maine with a paddling 
jacket in the day hatch, less if your bracing is very good or your 
tolerance to cold water high. The above assumes minimal contact with 
the water. Extended immersion (during rock play or surf) is most often 
addressed by dry-suits. I paddle weekly in southern Maine if you want 
to get together while you are here.
