Watch it, there Tony! You're sounding pretty sexist! We don't all go for
the "big gems" routine. I'm a sucker for a guy who can coach me out of my
current, and never-ending rolling fiasco. I also have a weakness for men
paddling British heavies. If I see one on the water, I tend to follow. Is
this attaching?

I've got a British heavy that I paddle occasionally. I probably should
also mention I've got a wife that I'm rather attached to also, more even
more newsworthy is that I've got a new baby boy.

On Saturday as I was about to go out and teach a kayak lesson my wife
called me on my cell phone and told me that her water had broken. After
talking to her midwife, and because the labor hadn't started at all, she
told me to just go ahead and teach the lesson (you can probably tell why
I'm attached to her). Nothing more seemed to happen overnight and went to
the hospital yesterday. Eli "the adorable" Francis Fereira was born at
11:32am via C-section. Mom, Baby, and Dad are all doing well.

Believe or not I've been thinking about building a kid size
skin-on-frame. I've got a 7 and 4 year old niece that are interested in
kayaking as well.
