I've never missed a roll in my K-1 (Expedition) and always inflate the sponthings fully. Well, I did miss one roll, but it was because I had hooked my paddle blade under a deck line while setting up. Your posting gives me the knowledge that it can be done and failure to roll the k-1 is mine and not the sponsons. I have had the F K-1 for about six months and love it.
