The idea that a high aspect paddle is more efficient is easily disproved without any math or physics. With all the money and prestige that go with winning world championships and Olympic races, the sprint racers and long distance racers would all be using Inuit blades if that would give them the tiniest advantage. As much as I love using my Inuit style blade, winning a race with it would be a testament to the paddler, not the paddle.
