For the past three years we have had an informal gathering of kayakers at North Padre island, just minutes from Corpus Christi. This year we are planning to make it a little more formal and offer some mini lessons, have some demos, including surfing demos, have some lessons for fees and continue to play in the surf and to flatwater trips, trade kayaking stories, try out different boats. This is a wonderful place to also bring your non-paddling family. The web page lists things to do on the beach and in Corpus. Rafale Meir-Maza will again be with us,helping us to make this an International Gathering. And you are invited as well. We do have a few extra kayaks available if you have to fly or can let you arrange rentals and find someone to bring them down to Corpus from Houston or Austin.
