Joshua, I know that those two questions are just examples of many, many questions, but if you acquire the pertinent charts for Vancouver Island, it should be relatively simple to measure the distances. Do you have the charts? Dreams are great. I have several myself. Some are likely to go to the grave with me without being realized, but some will be done... eventually. The most practical dream right now is a couple weeks paddling Glacier Bay. That one is doable.... if I can just manage to get about three weeks of vacation all in one continuous block of time...., and the money to get me and all my stuff from Virginia to Alaska.... and find a suitable paddling partner...... and if I can just improve my skills a little bit more. I can almost put a check mark next to that dream already! Anyway, great dream, and good luck with it!
