Anyone have any experience with these?

I have a 1999 Honda Civic Hatchback with Yakima rack, and carry my kayak
(16'1.5" long, 21.5' wide Mariner Elan) with hullyrollers and mako saddles,
but need a different system for my partner's boat (which will be about the
same length and width) to have it fit on the narrow roof.

The Hullraisers seem to be an improvement over the kayak-stackers, and look
similar to J-cradles.

Thanks!

We added a second boat to our household, and are now using
the Yakima Hullraisers for my wife's Avocet (16' long, 22" beam),
and my Romany sits on two sets of Mako saddles. I started with
the back set using hullyrollers, but there really wasn't a need for
them on a Subaru...and the saddles support the hull much better.

The Hullraisers are nice, secure, easy to load, etc. Saddles have more
built in flex to absorb road shock. Malone of Maine makes J Cradles
that can fit on Yakima or Thule bars, and these are also very nice.
Rutabaga has a nice photo of the Malone's on their website:
