Probably most of you know how to prepare your boats for a long trip in the car rack. I just learned a new trick from an instructor at Northwest Passages: go down to your local Target( in the US) and buy some "grip liner" shelf paper. It is the same stuff you see at the local bar underneath the glasses. 'Sort of a rubbery textured stuff. Anyway, place this weave between the boat and the saddle and there will be no abrasion. It works!
