  A while ago we discussed ways to mark your kayak.  Someone mentioned
laminating something into the hull.  I wonder if a small cotton (I think)
American flag laminated into the glass would last or if it would rot or
discolor, etc.

I know a guy locally that sells a "hemp yak" - stitch-n-glue boat with a 
layer of hemp cloth in the layup...also has done one that was 
tie-dyed....and I think he did one for a local art teacher - who painted 
Native American symbols on the cloth first - that one was pretty neat.

If the lamination is good (i.e. no leaks in the epoxy) it should be 
fine.  It won't discolor unless exposed to sunlight - epoxy when 
cured is pretty neutral.
