"BCU folks have what they call a "storm Cag", which fills the paddling jacket role described in recent posts." I aquired an NDK Storm Cag a couple of months ago. This pulls on over pfd and spray skirt, with only a small struggle to get my fat head through the neck hole while on the water. I think it's great. It makes you toasty warm on rainy, grey days, and it is not too much trouble removing it if it's too hot. It stuffs into the day hatch last and stops other items rattling. NDK are about to come out with a lighter model, which I hope to test asap. The cag does very well as a raincoat while ashore, having a hood. It's really like a loose tuiliq type top. Came in very handy recently when my paddling friends and I raced off the water to escape a lightning storm. I crouched down inside the Storm Cag like a yellow mushroom and waited out the electrical excitement. Does anyone on the list use a tuiliq as a regular paddling top?
