It no longer weighs enough to make a sound when hitting the floor!
Just read the news about a very experienced sailor here in Switzerland,
one who had done several transatlantic solos on his yacht. His boat was
found 3 kilometres offshore on lake Geneva, driving itself in circles,
minus the sailor. The guard rail on his boat was broken and his PFD's
were all neatly stowed in their lockers. The air temperature was about
minus 30C yesterday and the water was B****y cold on the Dyer scale.
The people I talk to (bore) over here about kayaking never understand
why I put in loaded for arctic conditions and I can never find one of
these news items when I need it.
Kevin.
