>>>PS Just read the Warning: ( product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.) Makes me want to use this on my kayak! >>> What is the chemical? You are referring to California's Prop 65. While the concept is a good one...inform users of products of any harmful contents, the execution leave a lot to be desired. They have been less than judicious about including almost anything that MAY have harmful effects. Once on Prop 65, even though subsequent test results may refute the inclusion, it is almost impossible to be removed. One of the more recent inclusions are Mc Donald's French fries, as overheated oil may contain trace amounts of possible carcinogens. I would research the particular chemical a little more and then make up your own mind. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
