G'Day,

Andrew Macauley of the New South Wales Sea kayaking Club has just completed
a non stop crossing of Bass Strait from Mainland Australia (Wilson's
Promontery) to Tasmania (Boat Harbour on Tasmania's N.W coast) a distance of
about 220km. Thirty six hours of continuous paddling across some very
hazardous water.

He fell asleep at one stage but on waking was able to roll back up.

All the best, PeterO
