Yeah, that was me. >I got >a ballpark price from them for a farmer john/jacket combo in "super >stretch" neoprene. Has anyone used the "super stretch" neoprene? The one I had Carolyn at LiquidFit make for me is an early version of this material, as I understand it. It's not real, real stretchy but it does stay snug. I have had no mobility problems and have been very satisfied. Money well spent. It only cost me about $30 more, if I recall correctly, to get a custom fit suit over buying a NRS Grizzly that never came close to fitting comfortably. Many custom wet suit makers, like LiquidFit, specialize in diving suits; other applications are secondary. You do need to specify that the suit is for kayaking, and that you're going to be spending a lot of time sitting, so it can be cut accordingly. The only quibble I've had with my LiquidFit custom job is that the zipper pulls for the ankle zippers are on the back side of the legs, and occasionally manage to stand up on the floor of the kayak. I'd advise having the zipper pulls on the inside of the leg. -- Wes --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wes Boyd's Kayak Place NEW URL! -- http://www.kayakplace.com Kayaks for Big Guys (And Gals) | Trip Reports | Places To Go | Boats & Gear --------------------------------------------------------------------------- *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
